This is volume 1 of a new series that I've been working on since the beginning of April as a way to provide some internal comfort and peace of mind for those who need it during this time of physical distancing and social isolation.
This is the only volume that is longer than the rest and is made up of older material, some of it going back to 2016 but it hasn't been released until now.

Clarity of Light was first broadcast for an online live concert for One World Music radio on April 22, 2020
Uncertain Present was recorded for a one-off-broadcast on the Mostly Ambient Radio show for June 9, 2016 then rebroadcast on the same One World Music radio concert where the final track, Possibility of Hope also aired on April 22, 2020.

Here are the notes about each of the tracks.

Clarity of Light paints a sonic picture, recounting days, not too far in the past when our daily lives and activities were normal, not yet effected by shelter in place mandates, daily reports of rising infections and body counts from a virus unfamiliar to many of us.

Uncertain Present is a portrayal of the anxiety and uncertainty we all feel in what have become, as mush of a cliché as it is, "these trying times". We are moved to look inward, to reflect on our very lives, though some of us may be tempted to run and hide from the darkness this may reveal about us as a society. On the other side of the coin is the positive spirit, the willingness we possess to move outward, to help those in need in what limited means are currently available as social distancing guidelines are put in place to protect us from the evil of a replicating invisible biological danger.

Possibility of Hope is a musical example of the indominable spirit of mankind as he rises up to face the challenges of the day and create a better society, one built of hope and love from the brokenness and isolation which we have all experienced during the reign of this most grave pandemic.
Good most certainly will have its victory over evil as is always the case, though the journey is often long, and at times, seems tenuous at best, the victory will be a result of moving inward and reflecting while, simultaneously stepping outside of ourselves to be the best we can be for our loved ones, our neighbors, and especially strangers, to build a more unifying society and strengthen the basic good of humanity.
