about

Shortly after completing work on my Nocturnes files for that series, Ingrid asked me if I would be interested in improvising over her gongs and crystal harp sounds.
I was honored that she'd make such a request so this project is our second collaborative effort.
Upon careful listening to each of her exquisite soundworlds, I found myself in a very meditative space that lead to intentional improvising which created some very unique and immersive sonic experiences.
"The album and track titles were inspired by the writings of Elizabeth of the Trinity (1880-1906)

from Ingrid N:
Scott has taken me far beyond my musical boundaries by inviting me into his incredibly rich and complex sound world.
With "Approximation - Unknown Zone" and "Enter the Unknown Zone" in "Nocturnes , Volume 12, " I refer to this.
This second album is undoubtedly a valuable addition to my musical experience and our enjoyable collaboration is a great gift to me."
