Ambi had this to say about our collaboration.
"Scott Lawlor invited me to collaborate on his Nocturnes series.
He kindly sent his 7 drone-type tracks.
Working on the Nocturnes became quite an adventure for me.
First I treated them with respect and some TLC.
Then after a couple of times listening to a track I came up with ideas supplementing the track. Challenging me to think outside my regular comfort space. And started composing, playing and recording.
As extra challenge I used only softsyths and samplers, which I hadn't used for ages.
Gradually the album grew and now it's finished I must say I really like the final result."
